Decoding Notes

Driver will only decode if format specification as described above is met. 
Each observation quality will be 1 when mode is 'T' (true), or -1 when mode is 'E' (error). It will be 0 (zero) if the decoded observation value is out of range.

Database Setup

To decode the machine pitch and roll information, add a 'Pitch Roll Heave Sensor' system. Select driver "Jan de Nul eDigger (Pitch-Roll)" and set the correct serial port number and communication parameters. Notice that there is no heave to decode.

To decode the five angles (plus the two spare ones) add a 'Rotation Angle Sensor' system (same port and communication parameters as above), select driver "Jan de Nul eDigger (Angles)" and add the five (or seven) observations.
Use the following table with Slot Ids to identify each angle. Set units to degrees.

The Slot Ids are case-sensitive.

To decode all fields generically, add a 'Miscellaneous' system (same port and communication parameters as above), select driver "Jan de Nul eDigger (Fields)" and on the next wizard page add for each required field a generic observation.
Use the following table with Slot Ids to identify each field.
