How-to Extended Kalman Filter

Gantry cranes, bridges and other obstacles always cause disturbance to GPS signals.
Qastor uses ‘extended Kalman’ filtering in order to get the position, heading, rate of turn and velocity results under difficult circumstances.
The filter integrates measured position, speed vector, heading vector and the accurate rate of turn value of the Fiber Optic Rate of Turn sensor.
